Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

BafGo Interviews is an async video screening platform. We take candidate and recruiter privacy seriously. This policy describes what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

1. What We Collect

For recruiters (account holders): email address, organisation name, and bcrypt-hashed password at registration. We store interview sets, questions, and reviewer access tokens you create.

For candidates: an ephemeral session token generated in the browser — never linked to a name or email unless the candidate voluntarily provides a name. Video responses are stored on BafGo's own servers and are never shared with or processed by third-party AI platforms.

For reviewers: a one-time access token. No name or email is required.

2. Video Storage

Candidate video responses are stored on BafGo's own servers. Videos are never transmitted to any third-party AI platform, cloud AI service, or external processor.

3. Data Retention

Interview responses and associated notes are automatically deleted 30 days after an interview set is closed. Recruiter accounts and set metadata are retained until the account is deleted.

4. No AI Processing

We do not process, score, or analyse candidate responses with AI or machine learning. We will never introduce automated candidate scoring without explicit consent.

5. Cookies

We use a single HttpOnly JWT cookie to keep recruiter accounts signed in. No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels.

6. Third Parties

We do not sell personal data. We do not share candidate data with third parties. Payment processing (if applicable) is handled by Stripe under their own privacy policy.

7. Your Rights

Recruiter account holders may request deletion of their account and all associated data by emailing support@bafgo.com. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
