Do I need an account to use BafGo Kitchen?
No. There's no account, no login, no email, no signup of any kind. Open the timer and start cooking. Everything is stored locally on your device.
Is my data private?
Completely. Your layout, timers, presets, and custom background all live in your browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded, tracked, or sold. Even voice recognition runs on-device — your voice never leaves your phone.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once loaded, BafGo Kitchen works with no internet connection at all — perfect for kitchens in bad signal zones or while camping. Timers keep counting in the background even if you close the tab.
Can I use my voice?
Absolutely. Tap the mic to enable voice commands, then say things like “5 minutes on front left” or “what's cooking?”. It uses your browser's built-in speech recognition — no AI service, no server.
Can I change my kitchen layout?
Any time. Open the layout panel to pick your stove size, oven configuration, and grill type — from a 4-burner gas stove to a double oven with a warming drawer, a 3-burner gas grill, or a charcoal kettle.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free — no account, no ads, no paywall. If you'd like AI-powered cooking features in the future, that may become a premium option, but the core timer will always be free.
How do I get notifications when a timer ends?
Install the app to your home screen (see the install guide), then enable notifications. You'll get an alert even when the app is closed.
